Title: AN ANALYSIS OF CONSUMER ATTITUDES TOWARDS FMCG PRODUCTS: A CASE STUDY OF DHULE DISTRICT
Authors: Dr. Vijay Pandit Palve
Abstract: The primary objective of this study was to examine consumer attitudes toward FMCG products with a focus on Dhule district, particularly in terms of potential gender-based differences. The study tested the hypothesis (H0) that there is no significant difference between male and female consumers’ attitudes toward FMCG products, against the alternative hypothesis (H1) that a difference exists. Primary data was collected from 144 consumers using a structured questionnaire based on a 7-point Likert scale, assessing six key attitude variables. An independent samples t-test was conducted to analyze the data. The results revealed no statistically significant gender-based differences in consumer preferences, product quality importance, advertisement influence, brand switching, trust in brand safety, or brand loyalty. Both male and female consumers demonstrated similar behaviors and attitudes toward FMCG products. Thus, the null hypothesis (H0) was not rejected, confirming that gender does not significantly influence consumer attitudes toward FMCG products in Dhule district.

Author: Kasina Naga Suryanarayana
Abstract: The introduction of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) in India on July 1, 2017, marked a significant shift in the country’s taxation framework. This comprehensive review examines the impact of GST on Indian businesses by analyzing existing literature, reports, and empirical studies published up to 2024. The review delves into the benefits and challenges brought by GST, such as the simplification of the tax system, the reduction in tax cascading, and the implications for compliance costs. Additionally, the review explores sector-specific impacts, the influence on small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and the broader macroeconomic consequences. The findings indicate that while GST has streamlined the taxation process and contributed to economic formalization, it has also posed challenges, particularly for smaller businesses struggling with compliance and technological adaptation. The review concludes with recommendations for policymakers to further refine the GST framework to enhance its efficiency and inclusivity.

A REVIEW OF INDONESIA’S NICKEL INDUSTRY FROM STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT PERSPECTIVE
Title: A REVIEW OF INDONESIA’S NICKEL INDUSTRY FROM STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT PERSPECTIVE
Author: Virgo Simamora, Irene Octavia* and Abriandi
Abstract: Indonesia is a country rich in natural resources, one of which is nickel. Downstreaming is a strategic step by the Indonesian government to add value and increase the value of nickel. Downstreaming practices provide a source of competitive advantage from a strategic management perspective. The study’s results show that the Indonesian government is unprepared to implement nickel downstreaming practices, which are characterized by foreign countries dominance in smelter ownership. The study’s findings also reveal that the Indonesian government’s managerial ability to manage the nickel industry is not yet optimal, which has an impact on nickel oversupply and declining nickel prices due to environmental damage.

GLOBAL SUSTAINABILITY
Title: GLOBAL SUSTAINABILITY
Author: Dr. T. VINILA
Abstract: In the broadest sense, sustainability refers to the ability to maintain or support a process continuously over time. In business and policy contexts, sustainability seeks to prevent the depletion of natural or physical resources, so that they will remain available for the long term. As the vulnerable state of our planet is becoming a daily headline, and individuals and businesses are feeling the pressure to make changes, we’re curious to find out what trends 2023 might bring that can enhance sustainability efforts. Several sustainability trends are shaping the global agenda during the cause of the year. Accordingly, sustainable policies emphasize the future effect of any given policy or business practice on humans, ecosystems, and the wider economy. The concept often corresponds to the belief that without major changes to the way the planet is run, it will suffer irreparable damage. The principles of sustainability refer to the three core concepts of environmental, social, and economic sustainability–sometimes broken down as “people, planet, and profits.” This means that in order to be considered sustainable, a business must be able to conserve natural resources, support a healthy community and workforce, and earn enough revenue to remain financially viable for the long-term. This paper views on the trends of sustainability 2023 and different new innovations concentrated by sustainability in different sectors.
