Title: DECEPTIVE BY DESIGN: INVESTIGATING THE INFLUENCE OF DARK UX PATTERNS ON CONSUMER DECISION-MAKING IN E-COMMERCE
Author: Nikita Vishwakarma
Abstract: In the competitive landscape of e-commerce, user experience (UX) design has evolved as a strategic driver of consumer engagement and conversion. However, not all design practices serve the user’s best interests. This study examines the impact of dark UX patterns—deceptive interface designs that subtly coerce or manipulate users into unintended actions—on online consumer decision-making. Through the lens of behavioural economics, persuasion theory, and digital ethics, the research explores how these patterns affect trust, perceived autonomy, and post-purchase satisfaction.

UNDERSTANDING THE PSYCHOLOGY OF PACKAGING: A LITERATURE REVIEW ON HOW YOUNG CONSUMERS DECODE DESIGN ELEMENTS
Title: UNDERSTANDING THE PSYCHOLOGY OF PACKAGING: A LITERATURE REVIEW ON HOW YOUNG CONSUMERS DECODE DESIGN ELEMENTS
Author: Netra Nilesh Wyawahare
Abstract: Packaging is an important way to communicate, and it is typically the first way a young person interacts with a product. Packaging serves as a “silent salesperson,” influencing perceptions through visual, tactile, and symbolic signals before any vocal information is received. Young folks between the ages of 18 and 25 quickly and often subconsciously interpret a story made up of things like colour, form, typography, images, material substance, and branding. Through processes like sensation transference and semantic interpretation, these cues change how people think about the quality, authenticity, style, and the intended use of a product. Young people who grew up with technology interact with packaging both in person and online. Because of this, designs need to work well in all of these settings: digital surroundings, unpacking experiences, and social media. Personal beliefs and social trends can influence how people respond. For example, minimalist designs may suggest modernism, eco-friendly materials may suggest ethical trust, and unique aesthetics may make something more likely to be shared on social media. The introduction establishes packaging as an emotional and cognitive stimulus that communicates company identity, affects decision-making, and reflects cultural and generational preferences. It lays the groundwork for understanding how different design aspects interact together to shape how young people see and act in today’s markets, especially when shopping online or in person with a lot of visuals.

TYPOGRAPHY, ICONS, AND TRUST: A REVIEW OF VISUAL COMMUNICATION IN PACKAGING DESIGN
Title: TYPOGRAPHY, ICONS, AND TRUST: A REVIEW OF VISUAL COMMUNICATION IN PACKAGING DESIGN
Author: Netra Nilesh Wyawahare
Abstract: Background: Packaging serves as a crucial communication instrument in fast-moving consumer goods marketing. Visual components, including typography, icons, colour, layout, and materials, communicate product information and quality indicators, thereby affecting consumer trust. This study examines how these components and foundational psychological frameworks (e.g., trust development, dual-processing, signaling) influence trust perceptions. Methods: This systematic study consolidates findings from scholarly journals, market analyses, and design literature about packaging design and customer trust. We incorporate ideas of consumer psychology (e.g., heuristic versus systematic processing) and cross-cultural design research (e.g., analytic versus holistic cognition) to analyse outcomes. Results: Empirical research repeatedly demonstrates that distinct, high-quality packaging indicators (e.g., legible text, authentic product imagery, informational iconography) augment perceived credibility. Reliable indicators encompass recognizable typefaces, credible certification symbols, and harmonious colour palettes. Cultural context is significant: for instance, Chinese consumers favour expressive (calligraphic) fonts and comprehensive design, while Western consumers prefer minimalist sans-serif fonts and distinct characteristics. Colour symbolism varies throughout markets (e.g., white signifies purity in the West yet denotes grief in certain Asian cultures). Conclusions: Packaging design utilizes semiotic and design concepts as indicators of quality. Reliable design elements function through heuristic (peripheral) pathways under minimal participation, while also facilitating central processing of product information. Consequences: The results underscore the necessity for culturally tailored design standards in FMCG packaging. Marketers must customize font, iconography, colour, and texture elements to resonate with target markets in order to establish brand confidence.

Title: IMPACT OF MONETARY POLICY ON BANKING SECTOR GROWTH IN INDIA
Author: Vaishnavi Bhaskar Shinde and Shilpa Laxman Chabukswar
Abstract: Monetary policy plays a crucial role in shaping the growth and stability of the banking sector by influencing credit availability, interest rates, liquidity, and overall financial performance. This research paper examines the impact of monetary policy on the growth of the Indian banking sector, focusing on how policy instruments such as the repo rate, reverse repo rate, Cash Reserve Ratio (CRR), and Statutory Liquidity Ratio (SLR) affect bank lending, deposits, and profitability. The study analyzes the relationship between monetary policy adjustments and key indicators of banking performance, including credit growth, non-performing assets (NPAs), and capital adequacy ratios. Secondary data from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), annual reports of scheduled commercial banks, and other financial publications are used to assess trends over the past decade. The findings are expected to highlight how expansionary and contractionary monetary policies impact liquidity management and credit flow in the economy. The paper also discusses policy implications and offers recommendations to enhance the responsiveness of banks to monetary signals. Ultimately, the study emphasizes that a well-calibrated and transparent monetary policy framework is essential for fostering sustainable growth, maintaining financial stability, and supporting the long-term development of the Indian banking system.

DESIGNING A FEEDBACK DRIVEN EVALUATION TOOL FOR WORK INTEGRATED LEARNING
Title: DESIGNING A FEEDBACK DRIVEN EVALUATION TOOL FOR WORK INTEGRATED LEARNING
Author: Rukesh Shelar
Abstract: Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) has emerged as a crucial strategy in higher education, aimed at closing the divide between theoretical knowledge and practical skills required in the workplace. Nevertheless, many current evaluation frameworks for WIL primarily concentrate on assessing outcomes, neglecting the ongoing feedback essential for student development and program enhancement. This research suggests the creation of a feedback-oriented evaluation instrument that prioritizes reciprocal communication among students, academic advisors, and industry supervisors. The instrument incorporates organized surveys, self-evaluations, and competency-based rubrics to gather feedback prior to, during, and following placements. In doing so, it not only evaluates technical abilities and readiness for the workplace but also uncovers obstacles, student expectations, and areas needing additional support. The survey aspect captures students’ views on confidence, motivation, and skill enhancement, while input from supervisors offers evidence-based assessments of workplace performance. Academic mentors serve a mediating function, ensuring that feedback is transformed into actionable learning objectives. In contrast to conventional evaluation techniques, this model fosters ongoing reflection, dialogue, and enhancement. Dashboards and analytics are integrated into the tool to monitor student advancement, identify competency deficiencies, and deliver consolidated insights for educational institutions. Consequently, the system does not merely assign grades but actively promotes learning, bolsters employability, and fortifies partnerships between industry and academia. This study contends that a feedback-driven evaluation tool improves the quality of WIL by establishing a cycle of learning, assessment, and enhancement. Ultimately, it enables students to take charge of their own development while supplying institutions and employers with data to refine program design and workforce preparedness.

AN ANALYSIS OF FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE AND EFFICIENCY OF REGIONAL RURAL BANKS IN MAHARASHTRA
Title: AN ANALYSIS OF FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE AND EFFICIENCY OF REGIONAL RURAL BANKS IN MAHARASHTRA
Author: Sukhdev S. Jadhav and Kishor S. Nikam
Abstract: This research examines the financial performance and operational efficiency of Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) operating in Maharashtra, India. The study utilizes a comprehensive dataset collected from eleven RRBs distributed across the state to evaluate critical financial indicators including Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Assets (ROA), Non-Performing Assets (NPA percentage), Credit-Deposit Ratio (CDR), and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR). Through rigorous application of statistical methodologies such as ANOVA, t-test, Chi-square analysis, and regression modeling, the research reveals significant insights into the current state of these rural financial institutions. The findings demonstrate that while most of the RRBs have successfully maintained stable CAR and CDR levels in accordance with regulatory requirements, their profitability metrics face substantial challenges. These challenges primarily stem from escalating non-performing assets and only moderate levels of operational efficiency. The analysis further suggests that targeted policy interventions could substantially improve RRB performance metrics. Specifically, strategic reforms emphasizing accelerated digital banking adoption, implementation of effective NPA recovery mechanisms, and more focused lending practices appear promising. These insights contribute valuable perspectives to ongoing discussions about rural financial inclusion and banking sector performance in developing economies. The research highlights the critical role of RRBs in Maharashtra’s rural credit ecosystem while identifying specific pathways for operational enhancement and financial sustainability.
