Abstract:

Korean Wave or Hallyu is currently very popular in Indonesia. The popularity of the Korean Wave is one of the causes of Korean food becoming popular in Indonesia and it is easy to find Korean instant food, both those that are directly imported from Korea and those that have been produced by Indonesian manufacturers. K-drama and K-pop are Hallyu products that play a major role in popularizing Korean food in Indonesia. The occurrence of the Covid-19 pandemic caused changes in culture, and lifestyle and made Hallyu increasingly popular in Indonesia. This study aims to 1) display several brands of South Korean instant products produced by local Indonesians, and 2) reveal the Role of Korean Culture in Product Promotion. This research used a qualitative method and data collection was conducted by interviewing Indonesian producers who produce Korean instant food to find out the reasons that make Indonesian producers interested in producing Korean instant food and what role Korean culture plays in the promotion of Korean instant food products. There are differences between Korean and Indonesian food cultures, and of course, cultural adjustments are needed, such as the use of raw materials to taste adjustments. The popularity of the Korean Wave has become the basis for Indonesian manufacturers to produce Korean instant food because of business opportunities.

Abstract:

Marketing a beauty product is one of the supports in increasing sales. However, the expertise of marketers is not only required to be able to negotiate with customers but must also be able to use language in product advertising and use various elements that support creativity so that the advertisement being promoted can attract customers and is called popular culture. Currently, the popular culture that is well-known in Indonesia and very popular with teenagers lately is K-Pop culture from South Korea. The increasing popularity of K-pop has made various beauty companies make these K-Pop artists icons in marketing their products. One of the companies that collaborate with Korean actors is PT. Beringin Abadi’s motto, which produces skincare products under the Scarlet Whitening brand, collaborates with Song Joong Ki as the brand ambassador in marketing their products.
 
This study aims to find the influence of brand ambassador Song Joong Ki Scarlet Whitening products on buying interest in students of the Faculty of Korean Language and Literature and to analyze the influence of brand ambassador Song Joong Ki on Scarlet Whitening products on buying interest in students of the Faculty of Korean Language and Literature at the National University class of 2018. This study used a quantitative research method. The sample in this study was students of Korean Language and Literature at the National University class of 2018 with a total sample of 114 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study is a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and simple linear regression analysis. In this study, it was found that the variable Song Joong Ki as a brand ambassador has a significant effect on the variable interest in buying Scarlett Whitening products the brand ambassador Song Joong Ki contributed 72.4% in an effort to influence buying interest for Scarlett Whitening products, while the remaining 27.6% was influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract:

This research is qualitative research. The purpose of this research is to study the work pattern for setting up operational procedures and developing a method for measuring the petroleum gas levels of a petrochemical company in Thailand. It is research in the field of actual operations with the population with special reference to workers in gas warehouses in all 5 regions in the country. Interview forms were validated by qualified experts and calculation forms were used as tools for data collection.

The research results showed that: the measurement of the gas level started from measuring the depth of the gas water; measuring the temperature of gas water; measuring the temperature of the gas vapor; and measuring the gas pressure and gas molar mass. After that, a calculation was done to find the true volume from the developed calculation model. Table constants in Table 54 were compared to find the Density at 15°C and Table Tank table to find the total gas volume, after which it was then calculated in the developed calculation which made the gas volume increase by 20% more than the previous model.

Abstract:

This paper analyses the pattern of total income and total expenditure of Greater Warangal Municipal corporation during the period from 2015-16 to 2021-22 in terms of trends in the composition of capital receipt, revenue receipt, capital expenditure, revenue Expenditure, and allocation pattern as between different sectors, proportions of the plan and no plan expenditure and select performance indicators such as Gross surplus/Deficit or net surplus/Deficit of corporation.

The results show that GWMC is faring better in terms of Gross surplus/Deficit and net surplus/deficit in all years. The major sources of capital receipts are state government grants and Central government grants while major sources of revenue receipts are tax revenues, non-tax revenues, deposits, and others. Budget estimates are shown not stable from year to year due to changes in the development schemes and central government contribution to the development of Warangal as a smart city.

Abstract:

The shifting trend in the consumption of health and environmentally friendly products in the market prompted the government and selected farming entities to shift to organic agriculture from conventional farming methods. Hence, the Philippine government conducted programs motivating the local farmers to shift to organic farming, given its potential in the market. Moreover, this study explores the underlying challenges defying the farmers in adopting organic farming and the action taken to counter the issues. The investigation adopted the case study research design, using the validated researcher-made interview guide in data gathering. Using the purposive sampling technique, ten (10) farmers from the selected accredited organic farms in Bohol and Negros Occidental willingly and voluntarily participated in the one-one-interview with the researchers and field investigators. For data analysis, thematic analysis was used. The themes developed from the challenges experienced by the farmers in adopting organic farming in the aspect of production and marketing are Nature’s Devastating Effect on the Crops, Pests, and Insects: Farmers’ Worst Enemies, Competition in the Market Share of Organic Produce Versus the Non-Organic Products, Ensuring the Health of the Soil, Long Period of Working and Waiting, Cyclical Nature of Farming Challenges. So, to remedy these problems, they realized that Challenges in Organic Farming are Inevitable and needed to Widen their Learning Horizon Through Training and Seminars. Further, the challenges they experience in their quest of adopting organic farming in the provision of supporting infrastructure are: Absence of Supporting Infrastructure Needs Self Help, Selective Provision of Government Assistance, and No Support Since Time Immemorial. To survive, the actions taken were: Farmers’ Self Reliance Leads to Survival and Financiers Provide Capital to the Farmers. The organic farmer in the Cebu and Negros Occidental, Philippines, has been confronted with various challenging situations that affected their sustainability amid competing with the producers of vegetables, fruits, and livestock using conventional farming methods. The most significant problem the organic farmers face is the reality of the Philippines’ vulnerability to strong typhoons and other calamities that would destroy the crops. Also, because organic farming does not apply commercial chemicals, there were instances that insects and pests would destroy their plants. Also, organic agriculture requires more time to restore the health of the soil that was destroyed after long years of applying harmful pesticides and fertilizers. Hence, the yield that would compensate for the farmers’ efforts and capital outlay cannot be recovered immediately after each cropping season.

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of digital capabilities, cybersecurity awareness, green human capital, gender, and experience on continuous accounting implementation. This study uses primary data in the form of questionnaires. The sample in this study was 614 employees of the finance and information technology division at banks registered with the Bank Based on Core Capital Group (KBMI). The result of this study shows that digital capability has no influence on continuous accounting implementation, cybersecurity awareness has a positive influence on continuous accounting implementation, green human capital has a positive influence on continuous accounting implementation, gender has a positive influence on continuous accounting implementation, and experience has no influence on continuous accounting implementation.

Abstract:

This study examined the effect of board diversity on the financial performance of quoted hospitality firms in Nigeria for a period of nineteen years (19) years spanning from 2003 to 2021. Specifically, this study ascertained the effect of gender diversity, age diversity, and board independence diversity on cash flow return on investment. The panel data sets used in this study were obtained from the annual reports and accounts and Nigerian Exchange (NGX) Group fact books for the study period. An ex-post facto research design was employed. Inferential statistics using Pearson Coefficient Correlation and Panel Least Square Regression analysis were applied to test the hypotheses of the study. The findings showed that Gender diversity has a significant and positive effect on cash flow return on investment (β1 = 0.141799; P-value = 0.0000 < 0.05); Age diversity has a significant and positive effect on cash flow return on investment (β2 = 0.018494; P-value = 0.0000 < 0.05); Board independence has a significant and positive effect on cash flow return on investment (β3 = 0.289258; P-value = 0.0000 < 0.05) at 5% level of significance respectively. The study recommended inter alia that Company boards should have an independent majority since an independent majority on the board is more likely to consider the best interests of shareowners first. In times of high environmental uncertainty, outside directors can link the firm with scarce resources, and help in effective strategy development and execution which can ultimately improve firm performance

Abstract:

The study examined students’ perceptions of using Google classroom for the teaching of Business Education courses in universities in Edo State. The descriptive research design using the survey was adopted in the study. The population of the study covered all the four thousand two hundred and (4201) Business Education students of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, and the University of Benin, Benin City. A sample of 420 students representing 10 percent of the students from both institutions was drawn using the simple random sampling technique. A researcher developed a questionnaire titled: Google Classroom Perception Questionnaire (GCPQ) was used to collect data. The test-retest reliability coefficient yielded an r-value of 0.79 and 0.82 on the usefulness and benefits of Google classroom respectively. Research questions 1 and 2 were analyzed using mean (𝑋̅) and standard deviation (S.D). The result showed that students have positive perceptions of the usefulness of various features of Google classroom including the singular screen view for student assignments, class arrangement, transfer of class ownership, new class integration, and also commenting features for teaching education courses in universities in Edo State. Also, they had favorable disposition on the benefits of Google classroom with reference to time and file saving benefits, flexibility, user-friendly interface, teachers’ evaluation, and feedback for teaching Business Education courses in universities in Edo State. It was thereby recommended that university management should take advantage of students’ favorable disposition toward Google Classroom by encouraging Business education teachers to introduce the use of the application for assignment and group projects.

Abstract:

Investors want more information about the company traded on the stock exchange and that the investment they will make will result from analytical decisions. Equity capital adequacy reduces the risk of bankruptcy and concordat of the firm. Therefore, measuring equity capital and determining its adequacy will positively affect economic stability. Factors such as debt levels of companies, cash flow statements, and profit margins on current assets draw attention. This study examined foreign resource distributions and capital adequacy of 32 companies traded in Borsa Istanbul between 2009 and 2019 regarding debt/equity ratios. The company information obtained from BIST has been analyzed for statistical significance. When the relationship between the equity distributions of the enterprises between 2009-2019 was analyzed by correlation analysis, it was determined that there were positive and significant relationships between the data (p≤.05).

Abstract:

The main idea of this research is to define which are the most important points of the Business Plans and with this facilitate the focus of tasks directed to these topics, without detriment to also treat the other requirements; however, with this, the entrepreneur will be able to focus more activities and research on the requirements that need more emphasis and development time. Since, if these points are not adequately developed, it will be difficult to achieve the desired success in the venture.
 
It was found that the order of difficulty in the development of a Business Plan is the following: the Financial Analysis of a Business Plan is the item that is most difficult, understanding that 397 students representing 55.14% put it as the main topic in the degree of difficulty, followed by Procedures and Compliance with Legal Requirements, which is considered the most complicated item by 202 people, which represent 28.26%; being the Market with a choice of 65 students as the most difficult topic to cover, while 56 people indicated the other items, Strategic, Organizational and Processes as the most complicated.
