Abstract:

A significant advancement in financial security has been made with the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into banking fraud detection, which has completely changed how organizations approach fraud prevention. The application and efficacy of AI-driven systems in detecting and reducing fraudulent activity in the banking industry are examined in this article. Artificial intelligence (AI) solutions outperform conventional techniques in terms of accuracy and efficiency by utilizing machine learning, pattern recognition, and real-time data analytics.
The main conclusions show that AI systems automate time-consuming investigative procedures while greatly increasing fraud detection rates, lowering false positives, and facilitating quicker reactions to threats. These systems are excellent at processing large transactional datasets in real-time and identifying minute irregularities that point to fraud, including account takeovers, identity theft, and unlawful transactions. By continuously learning from new fraud trends, predictive analytics and adaptive algorithms progressively improve their capabilities.
The essay offers strategic advice for organizations implementing AI-based fraud detection systems, while also addressing issues like technological infrastructure, data quality, and privacy concerns. These developments mark a paradigm shift in banking security and will influence risk management and fraud prevention in the future.
