The term Corporate Social Responsibility identifies the responsibility of the business towards the society around which it carries its business activities. This study examines the contribution made by the corporate in India towards the society on different grounds like areas wise, state wise, company specific etc. The Corporate Social Responsibility is the manner in which the business pays to the society as compensation for the harm caused by it during business activities being carried out like air pollution, sound pollution etc.
